A little video for a character animation assignment to make a League of Legends-style gap closer. To make it a bit more interesting, I considered how it would fit into the game with an accompanying ability, resulting in the concept sketch shown. I really liked working with the rig and seeing how I far could bend the anatomy with the squashing and stretching! (although I might've gone a little overboard...) The bendy bones are not really noticeable in the gameplay perspective because the character is so small on the screen, and the exaggeration really helps at that size, especially considering the lack of any VFX.
